Dayle Alsbury, Information Security Director, Blue Cross Blue Shield Louisiana

Dayle serves as the Information Security Director for Louisiana’s largest health insurance company, serving 1.4M+ members. He leads the personnel, systems, and resources necessary to execute centralized information security technology operations in a highly regulated & heavily audited hybrid cloud environment. His Information Security program responsibilities encompass business and security strategy, developing effective CyberSecurity metrics and benchmarks, leading high performing security operations functional teams, information security risk management & governance, cloud security development, and building high performing strategic and business partnerships. Dayle has extensive CyberSecurity experience in highly audited & regulated industries such as insurance, finance, banking, healthcare, and energy.

Ryan Brown, Manager of IAM Technology, Blue Cross Blue Shield Louisiana

Ryan boasts more than 15 years of experience in information security. With more than a dozen years focused on delivering enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management solutions, he’s an expert in the field of access management. Over the past 11 years, Ryan led large-scale projects on enterprise-wide identity management, identity federation, privileged account management and web access management. Ryan works at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana as manager of IAM Technology. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where his duties included security engineer for the Pentagon and Information security officer for Langley AFB.

James Kane, Regional Manager, Thycotic

James Kane is a champion and advocate of IT security awareness and speaks to clients and partners throughout the year to share the value of an effective Privileged Account Management strategy. In addition to coaching enterprises of the risks involved with privileged accounts and endpoints, he meets with clients daily to discuss their security strategies and has broad experience with mitigating risk from SMBs to world renowned brands.

Malik Merchant, Engineer, Thycotic

Malik Merchant has worked in cyber security for a number of years before joining Thycotic as an Engineer. Malik understands the liabilities presented by vulnerable information systems and how this impacts business. He also knows the goals that information security teams and IT operations teams are uniquely invested in, and works with these diverse stakeholders to successfully address the technical components of their security challenges. Malik is a Thycotic solution expert, so feel free to engage him in questions about any product features or technical concerns.
